Hello, I'm Lena! I am from Atlanta, GA and I received my B.F.A in Communication Design at Washington University in St. Louis in 2023, with a minor in Business of the Arts. I have a deep love for working with books, specifically children's books, doing both illustration and design. I'm inspired by many people (too many to name), including Quentin Blake, Maira Kalman, and Beatrice Alemagna. To me, they have a control on the messiness and chaos of art, and I admire it greatly.

I currently live in Chicago and work at Modern Luxury Media as a Marketing Designer, working to create advertisements printed in our 85+ brands across 22 markets with readership of more than 16 million.

Outside of art, I love going thrift shopping, traveling, or teaching myself to crochet.
